Hi, everyone! This is Hiro.
In 2015, I started began running webinars and they have since become an essential part of my coaching programs.
I really recommend that everyone starts running webinars because they help to visually share your passion with the world, and in this way, they help to create a different layer of connectivity with your audience that exceeds the capability of emails or calls. It is, therefore, important that you choose a webinar platform carefully. It should be a good ‘fit’ for you and your audience because it will impact your audience’s experience with your webinar, and in doing so, it will also shape the success of your delivery.
Out of the many different webinar platforms that I used so far, I have three favorites that I can confidently recommend to you:
I use Zoom for my Japanese audiences. Why? Because it is the only platform that offers on-screen text in Japanese – an important reading aid for my Japanese webinar participants. I currently use Zoom at least twice a week.
I use WebinarJam for all other audiences because (1) its integrated YouTube features allow me to link to this popular platform, (2) it has great marketing features, and (3) it’s integrated very well with e-mail autoresponder. I use WebinarJam three or four times a month.ClickMeeting is the most visually appealing of the three platforms, and I have used it many times. However, the platform does not offer support in Japanese and misses key marketing features. That said, it has many strengths and it has performed well when occasionally used. I think many people would love it.
To help you take a closer look at the features and uses of each platform, I have created a comparison chart in the attached PDF report. I hope this helps you to select and get started with your own webinar experience. I hope you find a platform that enables you to successfully share your passion with the world.
